Duane is a twenty-four year veteran of the hospitality industry. He started his career with Hyatt Hotels® where he held various management positions at the Hyatt Orlando, the Hyatt Regency Savannah, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Downtown and the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Lake Buena Vista, FL.
He then worked for Radisson Hotels International opening the Radisson Plaza Hotel Orlando Downtown and later playing an integral part on a task force that performed openings and conversions. Duane worked on such projects as the Radisson Plaza Minneapolis Downtown, the Radisson Plaza Atlanta and the Radisson Plaza Alexandria, VA.
Duane’s next opportunity brought him to Richfield Hospitality Services where he rose through the ranks with various Sheraton® properties before becoming General Manager for one of their independent hotels.
Duane joined Coakley & Williams Hotel Management as the General Manager of the Quality Suites Maingate in 2001, and is honored to be part of the extraordinary team of associates who have transformed the hotel into the Royale Parc Suites.
John Shreve is responsible for the development and implementation of the hotels’ annual marketing plan, management of the sales office & staff, strategic planning of advertising, marketing, sales trips, direct mail, e-mail marketing, and web presence. John joined the Royale Parc Suites team in October 1999. His previous franchise experience includes Embassy Suites, Doubletree, Holiday Inn, Sonesta, Ramada, Best Western, Hampton, Hilton, Days Inn, Sheraton, Choice Hotels and Hawthorn Suites. His versatile background has included pre-openings of new hotels as well as turnaround and repositioning strategies for poorly performing or newly renovated hotels. John also serves as Vice Chair of the Marketing Committee for the Kissimmee Convention and Visitors Bureau and is a Regional Advisory Board Member of Choice Hotels of Florida and the Choice Hotels Owners Council .
Diana began her career in the hospitality industry over 11 years ago as a front office agent at Summer Bay Resort in Clermont, FL. Although graduating from the University of Central Florida with a degree education, she claims to have been enticed with the hospitality world and decided to forego a career in teaching to learn more about the industry. She progressed through the ranks to become the Executive Housekeeper at Summer Bay Resort and worked on the expansion task force as they built 48 new villas.
She then opened the Crowne Plaza Resort Orlando where she was the Executive Housekeeper as well as Laundry Manager. She also acted as interim Front Office Manager.
Since 2000, she proudly calls Quality Suites Maingate East her home where she is the Director of Quality Assurance.
After receiving a degree in Business Management and Business Systems Technology from Orlando Southern College, she started her career in the hospitality industry in 1998 as a Front Desk agent and quickly worked her way up into hotel management.
She joined the Royale Parc Suites team in 1999 and holds the position as the hotel’s Executive Administrative Assistant as well as the Employee Advisor.
Cedrick has been in the hospitality industry for 10 years. He started in the Housekeeping Department as a Houseman with the Holiday Inn Select Orlando Airport, and later moved into the Front Office Department where he held the position of Front Desk Agent, and later Front Office Supervisor. He then worked for the Hilton Corporation as a Night Manager with the Embassy Suites Orlando Airport where he was responsible for managing the hotels Operations Departments and Security throughout the evening. Cedrick's next opportunity brought him to the Quality Suites Mainagate East as the Assistant Front Office Manager where he was responsible for the overall operations side of the Front Office, and preparation of Yield Management reports. Cedrick later became interested with Revenue Management and signed on with the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration as the Assistant Director of Revenue & E-Commerce Sales. Shortly after joining the Radisson team, Cedrick was made aware of the vision which was to transform the Quality Suites Maingate East into the premiere tourist destination in Kissimmee the Royale Parc Suites where he now holds the position of Director of Guest Reception and Revenue Management.
Jose Ramos is the Director of Property Care for the Royale Parc Suites with over 14-years of experience in the Health and Hospitality industry spanning an extensive range of engineering disciplines. Jose has launched, managed, and executed all aspects of the Royale Parc Suites' multi-million dollar repositioning. He has a proven track record in leadership and facility management as well as earning the title of Certified Engineering Operations Executive (CEOE). Jose and his professional team of associates are proud to be a part of the creation of the best all-suites hotel in the area!
Cynthia Cruz has been in the Accounting industry for 6 years, and 3 of those years have been in the hospitality industry. She started her career with Seralago Hotel and Suites as Accounts Payable Manager. Her responsibilities included Accounts Payable, Deposits, and Controller Assistant. Currently Cynthia holds the position of Property Accountant for Royale Parc Suites where her responsibilities are Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Auditor, Deposits, and Creditor.
Cynthia has obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Florida Metropolitan University in 2000.
Melissa has been in the hospitality industry for over 13 years. She began her career as a front desk agent and then went on to become a front office manager for a property of 500 rooms.
Following her tenure as the front office manager she transferred into the sales department, in this position she was responsible for coordinating all hotel groups. After one year she was promoted to position of sales manager. As the sales manager with the Ramada Plaza, Ms. Irizarry handled all market segments, and was integral in procuring revenue for the hotel.
Melissa has also represented Kissimmee as a prime destination for tour groups visiting the area. After completing her term with the Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau she moved on to become the Regional Sales Manager for Interstate Hotels & Resorts for 6 years.
Since August of 2006 she has been with the Royale Parc Suites – a Quality Suites Hotel as the Tour & Travel Sales Manager where she continues to utilize her expertise.
Shari began her hospitality career 26 years ago working for Walt Disney World in several guest relation roles. She obtained her first management role at The Buena Vista Place in 1990. She since progressed throughout the ranks and held a variety of positions included Reservations Manager, Director of Front Office, Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
Her background includes work in the Starwood, Radisson and La Quinta families of hotels.
Her years as General Manager have provided a firm foundation of core values that have enabled her team building and motivational skills.
Shari’s is proud to be a the Assistant General Manager of the Royale Parc Suites, where she joins a team of dedicated managers.
